West Virginia Chickenstock

West Virginia Chickenstock

CHICKENSTOCK is almost here!

Have you ever heard of a Chickenstock? We went to our first one last spring 2010 and it was so much fun. A Chickenstock is a meet where “Chicken People” can get together to buy, sell, swap and show off their chickens.

There are usually Quail, Peacocks, Pheasants, Ducks, Guniea Fowl, Rabbits and even Goats there too. It is a wonderful place to go to buy poultry, look at all the different chicken breeds and get information from real “Chicken People”.

This year, the first West Virginia Chickenstock will be held on April 23, 2011 in Martinsburg, West Virginia at the Tractor Supply Company. TSC is located at 1212 North Queen St. in Martinsburg, WV. 25401. WV Chickenstock will last from 8:00am until 12:00pm, but be sure to come early! We sold out in two and a half hours last year!

  1. Awwww…..I love it. Such fun to be had here by really nice people doing business with really nice people. Chicken people, I suspect, are probably a lot like dog people or RV people………really great folks. Enjoy your day there.
